Love stories are a common subject in Bollywood movies, and interestingly, Bollywood stars sometimes play out their on-screen roles in their real lives, too.

When a pretty woman meets a macho man, the combination is more than magical.

Katrina Kaif worked with Bollywood's most eligible bachelor, Salman Khan, for the first time in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, and the buzz about their relationship started making rounds almost immediately.

Salman and Katrina never commented on their romance. However, after Kat teamed up with Ranbir Kapoor in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, news of fights and break-ups started floating around. Until Salman announced at an event that he was single.

Katrina also acknowledged the comment saying, 'If Salman says we've split, it must be true.'

But we'd still like to know why the two split up. Would Ranbir truely have had the courage to romance Salman's girl?

Well, going by the thanda mausam in Chandigarh, the duo is likely to have a cozy reunion. We hear that Shahid plans to take a weekend off from the film and whisk Priyanka away to a resort.

They would ring in 2011 travelling through Europe and would return in January.

Salman Khan 'married' Asin: Salman Khan ‘married’ actress Asin earlier this week in a hush-hush ceremony in which her parents were not invited, according to the media down south.

As the evidence, a photograph of Salman dressed as a dulha and Asin as his new bride was splashed in the press reports. Quite obviously, a lot of people believed it and Asin was flooded with congratulatory calls and messages.

But the actress can’t stop laughing because it was a shoot for her film Ready with Salman Khan. In the scene, Asin marries Salman against her parent’s wishes. Apparently, someone thought she was getting married for real and published the story which was picked up by others in the media down south. In fact, the news of Asin’s marriage even reached her native place Kerala.

The ‘marriage’ has now become the source of constant jokes on the sets of Ready, with Salman teasing Asin and boasting to everyone that he’s finally married.

It may be recalled that Sara’s parents hadn’t attended the duo’s wedding in the Bigg Boss house. They had rather claimed that Sara and Ali are already married.

Reports also say that Sara and Ali were paid handsomely by Colors channel to tie the knot on the Bigg Boss, so that the show’s TRPs go up.

All this went on till Ashmit walked off in a huff and Veena sat down crying her woes in front of Khali and the rest of the inmates. Sameer Soni sympathized with her and agreed that Ashmit had not done the right thing.

However, after Ashmit had taken off his anger and discussed his point with the others, he went to pacify the angry Veena. Amazingly Veena gave in to his sweet talk and both were seen talking normally to each other. This annoyed Sameer Soni and he warned Veena Malik that if next time she came running to him crying about Ashmit he would never ever sympathize with her.

Just on the heels of the report that her character in No One Killed Jessica utters expletive dialogues, another rumour has broken out that she would marry early next year. But the actress rubbishes the rumours, saying that she is not tying the knot anytime soon.

The grapevine is abuzz with the news that Rani would marry Aditya Chopra soon and that the wedding would take place early next year but the actress said that marriage is not in the cards.

“As far as I know, I'm not getting married anytime now. And trust me, when I do have plans of marriage I will make an announcement and share my joy with you guys. I think I owe that much to my fans and well-wishers who have always loved me and stood by me,” said Rani in an interview to the Times of India.

Well, Rani is awaiting the release of No One Killed Jessica produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Rajkumar Gupta. It is said that she plays an intrepid investigative journalist, a chain smoker and utters expletive dialogues. She acts with Vidya Balan in this film, scheduled for release on January 7, 2011.

Talking to a news daily about her marriage plans, Kareena Said, “Of course, I talk to Saif and my family. Saif is extremely supporting and he jokes that marriage is a taboo in our film industry. Surely, there are norms that we can break but the fact is that the film fraternity considers a married actress a taboo.”

As to whether the marriage will be in the year 2011 or 2012, Kareena said, “Saif is so busy with his production and his films, so a wedding will happen but after a year maybe. Yes, probably the year when the world is supposed to end. But yes, I won’t deny the fact that I think about it.”

Well, looks like another big fat Bollywood wedding is on the cards.
