We now hear that Shahid is insecure about his on-and-off girlfriend Priyanka's intimate scenes with the actors who play her husbands in the film.

But the grapevine claims the real reason he is irked is that director Vishal Bhardwaj didn't cast him in the film.

Now, having turned down a lucrative offer to perform on New Year’s Eve, Priyanka, we hear, is set to fly to Chandigarh to ring in 2011 with Shahid, who is shooting dad’s directorial debut Mausum there.

Well, going by the thanda mausam in Chandigarh, the duo is likely to have a cozy reunion. We hear that Shahid plans to take a weekend off from the film and whisk Priyanka away to a resort.

But now Katrina has said that she will neither be joining her family this time nor will she be performing for the live audience to sexy number “Shiela Ki Jawani” during the 31st Dec’ night.

It has been reported that Kats has turned down a lucrative offer of Rs. 3.5 crore offered to her for the performance, while Piggy Chops has earlier turned down Rs. 3 crore. On the other hand Malaika has decided to postpone her New Yeas even family party to dance to Munni number for an undisclosed exorbitant amount.

Katrina while talking about the New Years’ live performances said that she would like to enjoy herself rather than dancing in front of the audience. She even took a possible dig at Malaika by telling that performing at such an event is like telling people that “I don’t have a life”.

After last time Kaif has been conscious to stay out of such a New Year’s program since she was almost taken to a court by an organizer after she backed out from perform at a Mumbai’s luxury hotel. So this time two B- town hotties Piggy Chops and Kat have decided to go the same way of not performing on New Years’ eve.

Priyanka Chopra's speach about 'Education Rights': Priyanka Chopra, who was appointed UNICEF national ambassador recently, has spoken up for the right of every child in India to go to school.

The National award winning actress is backing the Awaaz Do campaign, voicing her support for the movement in a video message encouraging people to sign up on the campaign website. "School was the best time of my life, I loved school. Every time I see kids going to school, it brings back such amazing memories of my own time," Priyanka says.

"Education can change lives. That's why I'm raising my voice for the 8 million children who are out of school... We've tried silence. It's now time to speak up for every child's right to be educated," she adds.

The Awaaz Do campaign was launched nationwide last month to raise awareness of the fact that eight million children in India, aged six to 14, still do not go to school.

Since the launch, more than sixteen thousand Indians have lent their voices to the cause, pledging their support for the right to education and joining movement by signing up on the campaign website or by sending a text message.

The Awaaz Do campaign uses online and mobile communications technologies to mobilise and empower people to become actively engaged in discussions and debates.

It was the special Diwali poll by MSN India and people had to vote for the categories of Patakhas, Phuljhadis, Bombs, Grenades and Dhamakas. Priyanka turned out to be the hot favourite as she also won the ‘Bollywood Phuljhadi’ poll.

King Khan, Shahrukh Khan is voted the ‘Bollywood bomb’ while the perfectionist Aamir Khan was on top in the ‘Bollywood Grenade’ list. Yes, surprisingly, Salman Khan couldn’t win any of these titles.

This year’s best grosser Dabangg was easily the winner in ‘Bollywood Dhamaka’ category.
