Priyanka didn't know what to say and simply answered: " I didn't know you were interested." We now hear that Shahid is insecure about his on-and-off girlfriend Priyanka's intimate scenes with the actors who play her husbands in the film.

But the grapevine claims the real reason he is irked is that director Vishal Bhardwaj didn't cast him in the film.

But we guess Shahid's issues with Vishal during the making of Kaminey dissuaded the maker. Don't cry over spilt milk, Shahid.

Now, having turned down a lucrative offer to perform on New Year’s Eve, Priyanka, we hear, is set to fly to Chandigarh to ring in 2011 with Shahid, who is shooting dad’s directorial debut Mausum there.

Well, going by the thanda mausam in Chandigarh, the duo is likely to have a cozy reunion. We hear that Shahid plans to take a weekend off from the film and whisk Priyanka away to a resort.

Karan, who has stirred many controversies by his pointed questions, makes sure that he gets enough fodder from the two to make eyebrows rise. While Shahid got candid about his relationships and even spoke about his hot ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, it was Priyanka who brought the catty-ness to show by giving Bebo a taste of her own medicine.

Kareena, in an earlier episode, had said that she wants to ask Priyanka where she got her accent from and in this episode the Fashion girl answers her back by saying that she got her accent from the same place where Bebo's boyfriend Saif Ali Khan acquired his. Karan, of course, holds the reigns of the show with masterful ease.

He gets pokey too at both the stars as he constantly probes them on whether they are seeing each other or not. Though the two don't admit it, they don't deny having a scene either. Shahid and Priyanka sure will show the world a new definition of being coy!

However, they do admit that their decision to come with each other on the show was mutual and that when Karan's offer was on, they spoke and exchanged messages before they gave the nod as they were not getting any partners to team up in such a quick time.

We hear that the chemistry between Shahid and Priyanka is super on the show and coupled with Karan's aggressive probing, it sure was an electric shoot!

Wooow!!! that says it all, and its icing on the cake when KJo announces about Priyanka before the trailer ends saying, “ here she is admitting to her relationship.”

Shahid looked quite dapperly in white, while Priyanka chose a sexy black body-hugging outfit for the evening. Throughout the episode not even once did they look uncomfortable. In fact, when Karan directly questioned them, ‘Are you a real-life couple?’ the duo didn’t give a direct answer. As a source tells a tabloid, “The answer was so non-committal and long-winded that even the seasoned host was left scratching his head.”

It’s learnt that the two decided to come on the show to just show that they are not into each other anymore. Well, whatever be the case with these two stunning people of Bollywood, they should never forget that ishq aur mushq chhupaye nahi chhupte.

Talking about Sonakshi’s promising career graph, the girl is on a roll, and after the super success of Dabangg she has signed some big projects. She is also in for Shirsh Kunder’s Joker opposite none other than Akshay Kumar.

Director Sabbir Khan is making the rom com ‘Heer and Ranjha’ and he has roped in the vivacious Deepika Padukone for the role of Heer. Shahid had already been pulled in to do the honours for Ranjha.


Reasons why Deepika has been cast for Heer:

   1. Sabbir was looking for someone who was young and dynamic and Deepika fitted the bill perfectly.

   2. Besides, Deepika is also a tad vulnerable with her share of emotional depth; something that was required for her character.

   3. Sabbir highly rates Deepika and considers her the finest actress of the new generation.

   4. Besides, the pairing of Deepika and Shahid would be the first of such kind and is bound to trigger some interest.

   5. And Deepika is not only a good actress but is also endowed with an unearthly beauty which makes her screen presence a riveting one.

The film, however, is some months away and would only go on floors in April, 2011.

Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone as Heer And Ranjha: After having cast the teenage heartthrob Shahid Kapoor as the 'Ranjha' in his next film titled Heer And Ranjha, director Sabbir Khan has pulled off a casting coup by roping in Deepika Padukone as 'Heer'.

Sabbir said, "Once I finished scripting, I felt that the Heer's part needed somebody, who is young and dynamic, as it's totally an author-backed role. At the same time, that person should have vulnerability as well as emotional depth. With so much in mind, I just couldn't see anybody beyond Deepika for the role, as I feel that she is one of the finest female actors among the Gen-Next's brigade."

Sabbir also added, "Casting this pair together was due to the fact that, this was one pair, which was everybody's unanimous decision. To have Deepika as Heer and Shahid as Ranjha, the film is nothing short of being fantastic. Everybody is excited to see the pair together!"

Since it's a romantic story being retold, music will play prominence in the film. Talking about the music of Heer And Ranjha, Sabbir reveals, "Music is indeed a very integral part of this film. And I am so very happy to have Pritam on board for it. There are 6 songs in the film. The core of the music will be romance... Music that will depict that it's a love story, at the same time it'll be contemporary. The music of this film will surely have lots of soul with a lot of modernity."

The shooting of Heer And Ranjha will begin in April 2011.
